We flew Sydney to Dubai then on to Geneva after a 2hr stopover.
Lots of babies on the flight though they were all fairly quiet. The food was plentiful and nice or terrible depending on who you asked. The views of desert around the Sinai were amazing as it was so clear you could see every sand dune. There were noooo trees. The coastline around the european coast of the mediterranean was also amaxingly turquoise. We flew straight over Crete.
Scarily we flew over Mt Blanc(see photo). The valleys are verrry steep.
After a two hour wait and a ninety minute Minibus trip we arrived at Les Houches, our overnight stop and the start of the walk.
When we saw the view from the window I knew i must continue this feature of our blog. Stay tuned.
